UP COMING EVENTS

Our mission is to develop and interactive and supportive environment where all students can access resources, explore, plan, make decisions, and evaluate their academic and career goals.

Students visit with an advisor for several reasons. The most frequent reasons are:

Creating an educational plan and/or setting up a class schedule
Identifying the courses needed toward graduation
Obtaining information about career and major options
Getting started at SLCC
Obtaining transfer information
Reviewing the academic progress
Referring students to resources available at the College and the community

Advising is also available to answer frequently asked questions about employment opportunities, financial aid, student involvement and activities.
