Miller Facility Rental and Conferencing

The Miller Campus was donated to Salt Lake Community College by Larry H. Miller, owner of the Utah Jazz, the Salt Lake Bees and a number of businesses throughout the Intermountain West. The Miller Campus opened its doors in 2001.

The Miller Campus is home to many popular SLCC programs. A 10,000 square-foot training facility for the College’s Culinary Arts program is also located at the campus.

Students at the Miller Campus can also take continuing education courses in areas such as legal secretary, digital media institute, digital media technology, pharmacy technician, real estate appraisal and public safety/criminal justice.  Concurrent enrollment is also offered to high school students at the Miller Campus.

In addition to training established companies, the Miller Business Innovation Center helps startup companies make a smooth transition into the business community.  The business incubator program offers small businesses office space, desks, furniture, computer network and IT capabilities all at below-market prices. The Center helps these companies achieve high growth through an array of operational and educational services.

In 2005, ground was broken for three new buildings at the Miller Campus.  These buildings will house training facilities for the Utah Department of Public Safety (DPS) including: Highway Patrol training, DPS development education center, the Utah POST (Peace Officer Standards and Training) academy and the Department of Corrections training academy.
