Located in the center of the Salt Lake Valley, SLCC’s Sandy Center is a great place for students living or working in the Midvale/Sandy area to achieve their educational goals! The Center recently added two new buildings to help ensure a top quality education for the growing number of students attending the Center.

Built in the mid-90s and expanded in 2003, the Sandy Center now serves approximately 3,500 students each semester. Sandy is known for its warm, personal environment. Faculty and staff make sure that help is easily accessible and immediately available. 

The Sandy Center now includes:

• A learning center that provides on-site tutoring
• Classrooms with multimedia capabilities
• A student library with reference and audio/visual materials
• Student computer labs  
• College bookstore

Sandy Center focuses on General Studies. Students can earn a Certificate of Completion, Associate of Science degree, AS degree in Business, Prerequisites for Nursing and more at the Sandy Center without ever attending another location.
