Student Life & Leadership

Students wishing to get leadership experience are encouraged to explore student government opportunities.

The Executive Council is comprised of students elected to office, and they provide leadership to the SLCC Student Association. Offices on the Executive Council include: the studentbody president, executive vice president, activities vice president, College Activities Board (CAB) vice president, campus affairs vice president and public relations vice president.

The Student Senate is made up of one appointed senator for every 1,000 registered students.  These students are assigned specific areas to represent, from athletics to arts and lectures. The senate works closely with the Utah Intercollegiate Assembly. Interested students can contact the Student Association Office for more information at (801) 957-4015.
