The Student Center is the social, cultural and recreational center for Salt Lake Community College students, faculty, alumni and guests. The Student Center creates a welcome atmosphere for students as well as visitors.

The second floor has offices for  Disability Resource Center, Enrollment Services, Admissions, Academic Advising, Answer Center, Financial Aid, Registration and Veteran Affairs. Student study lounges, meeting facilities and the Food Services Office also are located on this level.

The first floor houses the Bookstore, Student Center Administrative Offices, the Student Life and Leadership Office, Food Service and other auxiliary operations, lounges, the Courtesy Desk, vending machines, and a courtesy campus telephone.

The lower level contains the Thayne Center, Alumni Center, ID Center, Mountain America Credit Union and additional meeting facilities and services.


Reservations for meeting rooms and other requests should be made in advance in the Student Center Administrative Office, (801) 957-4076.
The Student Center is governed by a campus-based Student Center Board.

Building Hours:
Monday thru Thursday: 6:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Friday: 6:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: as needed for reservations
Sunday: Closed
