The Thayne Center for Service & Learning offers AmeriCorps Educational Grant scholarships to students who successfully complete a set term of service. Students engage in applicable service activities and turn in monthly time sheets, completing their terms of service within 12 months.

What types of service count?
� America Reads Community Work-Study
� Volunteering and service-learning activities that address tutoring, mentoring, or human needs
� Clinical work, fieldwork, or student teaching hours that involve tutoring, mentoring, or addressing unmet human needs

Scholarship Choices

� 300 hours in 12 months = $1,000
� 450 hours in 12 months = $1,250
� 900 hours over two academic years = $2,363
